Senior Compiler Developer

Job Location: Austin, Texas

Description:
Role Work with DSP architecture team to develop compiler and associated tools for new DSP core. Plan and coordinate more advanced compiler development with third parties. Design and implement integrated instruction specification and simulation system. Work with external DSP tools team to build code generator for new DSP core.

Skills/Experience
Must have practical experience in the following areas: Compiler development (e.g. development of code generators, development of global optimization phases for compiler intermediate form, development of vectorizers for high-level or intermediate code, porting of open-source compilers to new ISA, etc.) Assembler and other language tool development (e.g. multi-pass assembler development, linker/loader development) Software development in C and/or C++

Experience in the following areas is desirable
Development of optimizers. Development or use of very high speed simulation systems based on compiler technology (e.g. Embra, SimOS)

Additional Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Good self-direction and time management skills.

Education Requirements
BSCS required; MSCS highly preferred.
