Design Engineer (Software)

Requirements:

* 0-2 years of experience in C Programming
* Knowledge of processor support tools (assemblers, linkers, loaders, or support systems such as binutils); related standards ELF / DWARF
* Familiarity with low-level software and hardware bring-up / debug / support
* Team working on technical software projects with use of source control systems

Responsibilities:

Full life-cycle Linux / Windows utility software development to support embedded systems
• Timescale estimation and planning
• Analysis / design / specification
• Coding / profiling / optimization
• Test / debug
• Documentation
• Liaison and support with other teams both local and on remote sites
• Technical support of customers using related software via e-mail and other systems

Related hardware verification / test of embedded processor cores or other hardware to include:
• Testing of interoperation of supported software and Processor / SoC hardware
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning of run-time operations of systems
• Aid in bring-up testing of SoC and other design related to supported hardware
